Review:The Amora Hotel offers a good atmosphere with friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms, and excellent tram access near the Yarra River. The breakfast had room for improvement, particularly in variety and flavor, but overall, a pleasant experience. ,rating:8,date of stay:2024-03-15}

The location was marvellous so close to the cafes of Bridge road, minutes away from Annette's Place. I liked the room, it was great-sized and functional and complete with a full balcony, shower, as for instance. Friendly service, although a few employees were not very helpful.

The room was comfy and clean, and the staff were amazing—especially our hilarious waiter, whose short name I can’t recall, but he made our dining experience nice. We loved the inviting atmosphere and the immaculate grounds, and I’m already planning to return for another family trip!

Really enjoyed neat room with great housekeeping services, wouldn't mind staying there all day. The breakfast in the restaurant was above average with the offerings of accommodation aiming at a lesser standard than Amora to start your day.

The location is perfect, with easy tram access to the city. The staff were friendly and the rooms clean and comfy. Just a heads-up, breakfast can feel a bit rushed. A great place for a family getaway. Definitely worth considering!

We had a 2 bedroom apartment, which was great, but the living area is quite small and seating not very comfortable. The balcony was great, but it needs to be warm to sit out there. We really enjoyed walking along the river each day and the many good restaurants in the area. Close to good shopping and walking distance to many places.
The seating in the living area.

We had a lovely experience at the amora, which impressed us with its thoughtful amenities and excellent service. the hotel was well located, making it easy for us to access restaurants and local attractions. our room was spacious and comfortable, complete with a fold-out couch that suited our needs perfectly.
Breakfast was okay, but not extraordinary. ☹️.

its strategic location provided easy access to the CBD, with both Flinders and Southern Cross stations just a short ride away within Zone 1. The staff, whether at the front desk, restaurant, or bar, were attentive and friendly.
I did notice that the premises, while clean, had a slightly shabby appearance, suggesting that it was attempting to project an image it wasn't quite living up to.

It is relatively a samll hotel, and things can be easily done.
The room was "upstairs", and one haas to take all his luggsge up on a narrow flight of stairs

While I was in town for a party, the room offered a spacious layout with beautiful views of the river. I particularly enjoyed the spa bath, which added a nice touch to my stay. Plus, having easy access to tram lines made exploring the local area effortless, especially with the various eateries nearby. Although I could hear some noise from the adjoining room, the overall experience was quite pleasant.

The separate lounge area to the bedroom was nice. The reception staff were helpful. The steak from the restaurant was nice. Although service in the restaurant can do with some improvements.
The spa in our room was dirty. We didn't get to use the spa until the last night of our stay. When we filled the spa halfway we noticed some dirty floaty bits floating in the water. It was late so we didn't call to ask for it to be cleaned so we were unable to use the spa this time for our stay. Also, staff tend to knock on the door once without saying anything and just walking in. I was in the bedroom and when I turned around there was a staff member already opened the bedroom door and was standing in the room just inside the door. This happened twice. Once was a guy from mini bar the other was a girl from reception. This is our second stay and the first time was better.
